Visting Home

I went home to visit Melissa this weekend, we went to David's Bridal to pick out bridesmaid dresses for her wedding this June! It was so good to see Melissa, meet her maid of honor, and visit my old neighborhood/ go to her house. I had not been back in years, and seeing my old house, and looking at old pictures, was very bittersweet for me, I might of cried once or twice. I miss home (Schaumburg).

My mom just loved seeing Melissa! Melissa's fiance is Polish, so we had a good time talking about traditions, customs, culture and food, Melissa also showed her Polish speaking abilities (her fiance Luke has taught her some words), needless to say my mom wants me to teach Kenny some words! It was quite the time, I am glad we got to have a sleepover, it had been to long... When we woke up this was waiting for us...

I did a lot of driving this weekend but it was worth it- Ken had Chicken Parmesan waiting for me when I got home, I think he likes me =]
