Joyous January!

I really like this dress

This dress doesn't come in royal blue =(

Last weekend I went bridesmaid dress shopping with 3 of my bridesmaids! It was a lot of fun, we went to Olive Garden first then to The Crystal Bride. The Crystal Bride is where I found my dress and I had looked at their bridesmaid dresses and found 2 that I really liked. Unfortunately, the dress that I was my #1 choice doesn't come in our color, royal blue. Overall, the trip was a success it was good for the girls to meet. Too bad my other bridesmaid couldn't come but she lives in Minnesota and will be here in February! I am excited for Manda Joy to see Kenny's farm and go dress shopping!!

Kenny and I have been cat-sitting Roxy this week, she is our neighbor Neil's cat. We both just adore her, she is so sassy! Having Roxy has only deepened my love for cats and has me wanting to get a cat!! We shall see what comes of this, since Kenster doesn't want one...

Today, Amy (my neighbor across the hall from West Chicago) and I went over to Julie's (our friend) for the Bears vs Packers game. Amy is a huge fan, and she lent us Urlacher jerseys! We brought over pigs in a blanket, meatballs & buffalo chicken dip (my fav), and had a little party. The game was a let-down, I did like #12 Caleb Hanie, he did well considering he was a 3rd string quarterback. I am not really into sports but I do enjoy good games.

Next week, Amy, Julie and I will go to Champaign to do some bridesmaid dress shopping! I found a few at David's Bridal that I like. I have mixed opinions on David's Bridal, some people say its great, some people don't like it at all. We will have to see...

Kenny and I have been playing Kinect lately, we've even gotten our friends to join. Overall, January has been a busy month! I look forward to staying around here next weekend! The Kinect is pretty cool, it actually takes pictures of you as you are playing the game, some of you may have seen this on facebook, here's a pic of Ken and Neil:
